The Holy Spirit encourages us to identify those who pander pure evil; as they attempt to turn Believers away from the Will-of-God and toward sin and worldly desires.

In our last session, we ended with the importance of Rome, and the part they will play during the ‘End Times’. Today, we continue with the ‘Great Armies’ that will participate, and how ultimately, God plans to destroy them.
In Revelation 13: 2, John tells us… ‘The beast will be like a Leopard; swift, cunning, and agile. That sounds akin to Greece, where ‘Alexander the Great, who had one of the world’s greatest army under his command. The antichrist will be a lot like Alexander, as his goal is also to dominate the world. The beast also has feet like a bear; an animal that is well known for its strength and fierceness in battle. These characteristics will make the antichrist and his forces very formidable adversaries.

The antichrist is described as having a mouth like a Lion; referring to his ability to speak ‘powerful words’. To be sure, we should understand that the ultimate source of evil and power, emanates from Satan himself, who for the time being, still holds great power and authority on the earth. Satan really does have some supernatural abilities, but always remember, he DOES NOT possess the power to resurrect people from the dead… only God and Christ have the power to do that.

What he does have is great power to deceive people; he is the master of cunning and deception. With his vast knowledge of God, man, and the universe, he will perform many counterfeit miracles, but again, only God can supersede the natural laws that He created from the beginning.

The miracles that Satan, the antichrist, and the beast will be able to perform, will cause mankind to marvel; satan himself, will engage in miraculous healings, not witnessed since Christ and the Disciples walked the earth. Satan will attempt to blind people’s minds, by showing them things that appear extraordinary. Many will certainly fall into his trap and accept his trickery as factual and genuine.

Radio, television, and the internet will help to further convince the public of the power that their evil wields, as they attempt to gain a self-appointed deity. This will cause many Believers and the ‘weak-in-spirit’ to follow and worship him. Satan will believe that he has finally gained what he has hungered and thirsted for since the Garden of Eden; a position as equal to Jehovah. He will believe that he has defeated Christ and elevated his throne above the MOST HIGH. It should be noted that satan never created anything… God did the creating of all that exists throughout the universe; the stars, the galaxies, mankind, and the cattle on 1000 hills.

To summarize, let’s look at the major characteristics that represent satan, the antichrist, the false prophet, and the beast… Both satan and the antichrist are highly intelligent beings. The Bible tells us that God created them both for His own purposes. They will be skilled in understanding all matters of commerce, war, speech, and politics. Satan is an angel that we know as Lucifer, who fell from Grace; his sin being his attempt to become like God, with all the power and wisdom of God himself. The antichrist, on the other hand, will be a man of flesh and blood, that satan brings along aside, to assist him in his quest for power and greatness. The antichrist will try to mimic Christ; (he couldn’t have chosen a better example than Christ; after all, he is God. The antichrist will actually claim to be God. Christ performed miracles; the antichrist will be performing miracles as well.

Scripture tells us that Christ is crowned with many crowns; the antichrist will be crowned with 10 crowns, representing many of the kings of the earth. Christ rides a white horse as does the antichrist. In Matthew 28: 6 Christ was resurrected. The antichrist will appear to also have been resurrected. And finally, Jesus Christ is the 2nd member of the Holy Trinity – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The antichrist is also a member of an UNHOLY GANG OF THUGS – including satan, the antichrist, false prophet, and the beast.
