Fundamental Truths
God- Scripture- Fall of Mankind
The Scriptures: The Bible is the inspired WORD-of GOD and the Revelation from GOD to man. It is the infallible rule for Faith and Conduct, and Superior to our own conscience and reasoning; 1st Peter 2: 2).
The One True GOD: has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed ‘I AM’, providing us the embodied principles of relationship and association, through HIS only SON, and GOD’S Holy Spirit. (Mark 12: 29).
Man’s Fall and Redemption: Man was created to be perfect, decent, and upright. By his voluntary transgression, and by his fall from Grace, his only hope of redemption is now through JESUS CHRIST, the SON of the Living GOD… (Genesis 1: 26-31).
Salvation- Holy Spirit- Baptisim
Salvation of man: by the Grace-of-GOD, CHRIST JESUS has appeared to all men through The HOLY SPIRIT. By Faith, a man repents of his sins, is washed in The Blood-of-CHRIST and Renewed and Justified by the Sacrifice of JESUS CHRIST, our LORD-and-Savior… (Titus 2: 11).
Evidence of Salvation. The evidence of a believer unto his Salvation is the witness of The HOLY SPIRIT that lives within him. (Romans 8:16). The outward evidence to those who know him, is displayed as a life of righteousness and True Holiness.
Baptism by Emersion: JESUS commands all Believers to be Baptized. HE displays this by example, as John Baptizes JESUS in the River Jordan. Baptism is an important function for all Believers, as this one act unlocks The HOLY SPIRIT that comes to live in every Believer. Baptism is also an outward expression of an internal decision… Believers are declaring to the world that their sins have died with Christ, as they are raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Rom. 6: 4).
Communion- The Promise- Re-Birth
The Lord’s Supper: consists of two elements, the bread, Representing The-Body-of-CHRIST, and the fruit of the vine, Representing HIS Blood. Both symbols Memorialize our thankfulness to our LORD-and-SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, as we Remember HIS Sacrifice until HE returns. (1 Corinthians 11: 26).
The Father’s Promise: True believers are Promised an eternity with the FATHER, HIS SON JESUS, the Angels, and those who received JESUS as LORD-and-SAVIOR. With that Promise, comes a deeper spiritual life and continued service to HIS Kingdom… accompanied by Specific Spiritual gifts to be utilized in the work of the ministry (1 Corinthians 14: 12).
Re-generation: All those who were ‘Born-again’ and slipped from their Faith, can turn from their sin and wicked ways, and renew their faith in the finished work of JESUS CHRIST. The power of GOD’s HOLY SPIRIT (Titus 3: 5) once again comes alive within them, enabling them to return to ‘A Christ-centered Life'. (1 Corinthians 3: 16.)
Sanctification- The True Church- The Ministry
Sanctification: is the Process whereby Believers that are Saved, walk in obedience to GOD and CHRIST, while being lead by the power of GOD’s Holy Spirit. In GOD’s Eyes, HE sees us through the Shed-Blood-of-the-Cross and the Holiness-of-JESUS; imputed to us, and no longer through our sin (Heb. 10: 10). Thank GOD that we are fully set free from the presence of the world and its sin when we see Jesus our Lord and Savior… We will be made like HIM, as we see HIM in all His glory (1 John 3:2).
The True Church: is the Body-of-CHRIST, represented by True Believers who are Born-of-the-SPIRIT, being an integral part of the church which is Heaven (Eph. 1: 22-23).
The Ministry: Divinely called and Scripturally ordained, for the sole purpose of edifying the Body-of-CHRIST (Ephesians 4: 11-12).
Divine Healing -Blessed Hope- Millennial Reign
Divine healing: Deliverance from sickness is provided through CHRIST’s Atonement. It is the Blessing of Believers who receive this Gift… they must apply this gift wisely (Matthew 8:16-17).
The Blessed Hope. The Resurrection of all who have fallen asleep in CHRIST, together with those who remain until the coming of The LORD, is the Blessed Hope of the Church (1 Thess. 4: 16-17).
The Millennial Reign: the Revelation of CHRIST, the Salvation of Israel, and the Millennial reign of CHRIST-on-Earth; all are a Scriptural promise from GOD. (Rev. 20: 1-7).
Lake of Fire- The New Heaven and the New Earth
The Lake of Fire: the devil, his angels, the beast, the false prophet, and those not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, are consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone… this is the ‘Second Death (Rev. 19: 20, Rev. 20: 10-15).
The New Heaven and New Earth: according to GOD’s Promise, we look forward to a New Heaven and a New Earth, centered in Jerusalem, wherein dwells JESUS, Righteousness, and the Truth (2 Peter 3:13).
